The Little Mix singer, 31, revealed she is now at peace with the way things ended after what she described as a "toxic" love.
The solo artist admitted neither party was to blame for the "gut-wrenching" 2015 split.
It had been reported that Perrie was dumped by text and it was suggested ex-One Direction star Zayn, 31, may have cheated.
