AQI Slips Into 'Very Poor' Zone

The Air Quality Index (AQI) of the capital was 314 on Sunday against 280 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Delhiites should brace for colder nights as India Meteorological Department has predicted that the night temperature is likely to hover around 9 degrees Celsius for the next few days and may dip further to 8 degrees Celsius on November 25.

"Calm winds at night and low temperatures are hampering the process of the dispersion of pollutants. The air quality has deteriorated due to stagnant conditions," said an official.
