Adelaide: A video, titled “King Kohli’s hotel room” and filmed with a mobile phone camera, scans through cricketer Virat Kohli’s Perth hotel room and shows his gear, glasses, shoes, kit, parts of the kitchen, protein supplements and toiletries. At one point, the person responsible even inadvertently shows his own reflection in the glass, revealing a person wearing a suit and tie.
Along with reposting the video, a fuming Kohli wrote on his Instagram page, “I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that.
“But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all??
