All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday targeted chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that the latter had defamed the Muslim community in the entire country during the Covid pandemic and didn’t do anything to stop the riots in Northeast Delhi.

New Delhi: Campaigning for the AIMIM candidate in Shri Ram Colony ahead of the civic body polls, Owaisi claimed, “When Covid happened, the first person to defame Muslims in the country was Delhi’s chief minister Kejriwal. He took the name of Tablighi Jamaat and gave a bad name to the Muslims and called them super-spreaders.”
