Streetcar service to return to St. Clair on June 23

The TTC said that until work at St. Clair station is finished later this year, the 512 streetcars will serve the station on-street.

After major infrastructure upgrades, the transit line will be operational between St. Clair Station and Gunns’ Loop starting June 23.

Some of the work included modernizing overhead power along the streetcar right-of-way and rebuilding overhead power systems at intersections with St. Clair Avenue at Lansdowne Avenue, Oakwood Avenue, Vaughan Road, and Bathurst Street.
