Stronach says he did 'nothing wrong'

Frank Stronach spoke with the CBC's "Fifth Estate" in his first interview since being charged with sexual assault.

In his first interview since being charged with several counts of rape, assault and forcible confinement, billionaire Frank Stronach has told the CBC he did “nothing wrong.”

Stronach, now 91, is facing 13 criminal charges involving 10 alleged victims.

Through his lawyer and now, in his first public comments addressing the charges against him, Stronach has denied the allegations, which have not been tested in court.

“We have a lot of data, which totally will prove that those things are lies,” Stronach told the CBC’s Mark Kelley.

The business magnate also suggested that the women who have made the allegations against him are being motivated by money, and what he sees as the poor handling of Canada’s economy.

“Women might say, ‘Look that way we can collect some money this way or that way,’ ” Stronach said.
