How did travel photography happen?
I've always had a fascination with maps and globes from a young age. I was that curious child who always wanted to know what was around the next corner. I had a very outdoor childhood with no technology and plenty of room to explore - my first baby steps were on a beach. I've been very privileged to have supportive parents that always understood the importance of travel and learning through travel. I had visited many countries before the age of 10 and when I was 13 I travelled to India with my family for a two-week trip. I had a point-and-shoot camera at the time which was pretty broken and only shot in black and white...I remember being so captivated by photography at this point. Being able to take a picture and then relive that moment forever was wild to me. From then I started to document everything and as soon as I was able to make money, I used my savings to travel. Now I get to call travelling my job which is a dream.
