The Delhi edition on November 13th saw over 100 Golfers at the ITC Classic Golf Course in Manesar and the Hyderabad edition at the Boulder Hills Golf Country Club witnessed over 200 Golfers in 2 sessions morning and noon) competing for coveted prizes! With a round of golf during the day and a night filled with entertainment and fun, the events wound up in the true sense of the theme: Golf! Glamour! Glory!
The Hole in 1 Prize was the most sought-after of them all: a BMW 530i car. The hole distance being 155 yards in Manesar and 140 yards in Hyderabad, although no one could achieve this feat.
The Golden Eagles Golf Championship began in 2015 as a vision of Mr. Chinta Sasidhar, Chairman Vishwa Samudra Group. The event very quickly grew to become the most sought-after corporate golf event in India. The event celebrates Golf, Glamour and Glory in all its form!
With a mix of pros, celebrities, amateurs and corporate golfers, the event’s popularity has soared over the years. It has witnessed popular figures like: Brian Lara, Sharmila Nicolette, Chitrangada Singh, Tamanna Bhatia, Leander Paes, R Madhavan, Rakulpreet Singh, Shilpa Shetty and more.
The format of having pros in the competition makes this invitational event interesting thereby increasing the level of competitiveness across the course. This edition included pros like Rachel Drummond and Bella Angel from the UK and Indian pros Tvesa Malik and Ridhima Dhilawari. Former Indian Cricket Captain aal and star of the 1983 World Cup winning team, Kapil Dev who is an ace golfer also showed his expertise on the course in both the cities.
Paul Barrington World Trick Shot Champion and by far the world’s best Golf Trick-shot artist, showcased mind blowing tricks to prep the golfers before tee-off.
