AUDIENCE (108) gained a deserved round of applause when winning the Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood by an impressive four lengths.
That topped even his front-running win in the Lockinge at Newbury that kicked off the season. He seemed to enjoy dropping to seven furlongs on the Sussex Downs and Rab Havlin didn't feel the need to go blasting off in front this time. He instead sat close to the pace and put the Gosden gelding into the lead passing the two-furlong pole.
He was due to run in the City of York Stakes while the ink was drying on this issue and hopefully he ran well again on the Knavesmire as there are prizes like Park Stakes at Doncaster's St Leger meeting to shoot for.
