CARLOS SEEKS RIGHT BALANCE

After scoring just twice in their first seven games at the Hawthorns, the Baggies have now bagged six in the last three to pacify an increasingly mutinous home crowd.

Yet only one of those fixtures yielded three points, with both Norwich and Sheffield United claiming a share of the spoils.

Corberan’s side also lost 2-1 at Watford last weekend, ending a 12-game unbeaten streak that included five goalless draws.

“We are pleased that we are scoring more goals at home now, but we have also started conceding more goals,” said the Spaniard, whose side began the weekend in eighth position.

“We want to increase specific areas of our game without other areas decreasing. We need to find the balance. That’s a target of ours, but it’s not always easy to achieve, especially against an opponent like this.

“They play very good football. I like how they play a lot. I think Liam Manning, the coach, has done amazing work.
