The job is not done yet, says Maresca

CHOUDHURY'S HEROICS SAVE DAY AS FOXES BACK ON TOP

ENZO Maresca admitted his Leicester side were “lucky” to beat West Brom, even though their win moved them a step closer to promotion.

Maresca’s side moved back to the top of the Championship with goals from Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy, who missed a penalty in the first half.

Albion dominated the game, but could only find the net once when Jed Wallace reduced the two-goal deficit for Carlos Corberan’s side with 14 minutes left.

Maresca celebrated with his players at the final whistle, but says he knows the job is far from done. He said: “It was a crazy game. We still need two wins, we have to look at the next game.

“Every time you win, you see yourself closer and you celebrate. But it’s not over, we have to finish the job. It was only 12 months ago we were relegated, it’s not easy to come back.”
