The 26-year-old Dane has signed on loan from fellow Championship club Leicester until the end of the season.
He made 12 Premier League appearance for the Foxes last season and has previously had loan spells with Oldham, Rotherham, and Preston.
“I have known of the interest for a couple of transfer windows, and it’s great to now get a deal done,” he told the club website. “This feels like the right time for me to come here, work hard to earn my place in the team, and show what I can do.
“I really like the Championship, the atmosphere the fans create at every game, and the relentless nature of the matches.
