LAKELAND ADMITS: LYNN HAD TO DIG IN

The hosts had the better of the chances, and a goal disallowed, dominating the first half without really testing goalkeeper Paul Jones.

Yusifu Ceesay had a shot saved in the eighth minute before Kye McFadden headed over for Lynn. Cody Johnson then shot over for the away side, while Ahkeem Rose did likewise for Paul Caddis’ men.

In the 34th minute, Lawson D’Ath’s free-kick went just over for Hereford before Cosmos Matwasa headed over. The home side’s best chance of the half though came just before the break. However, Ceesay shot straight at Jones when he should have scored.
