LIONS' TRIBUTE TO CROCKED KARL

Much-travelled front-runner Demidh hit the deck in agony late in the first half and was stretched off with suspected ligament damage.

It led to a ten-minute delay but the Lions roared once they re-emerged, adding to Ethan Wiesztort’s fortunate opener through the first of Sacha Markelic’s hat-trick in first-half stoppage time before pouncing on second-half errors to take the game away from Borough.

Assistant manager Karl Steed said: “Credit to the lads for wanting to get through it and finish the job for Karl – this win is dedicated to him.
