Camborne’s director of rugby Steve Larkins was understandably delighted with his side’s performance. He said: “We did well early on to defend as Lucs put us under enormous pressure, we knew they would pose us a significant challenge today and we were not disappointed.
“To turn around 12-8 up at half-time with the slope in our favour second half was a great achievement, then to score straight after halftime really gave us an advantage.
“I was delighted for Jordan Nicholls scoring a great try on his 150th appearance for the club.
“We take nothing for granted, we know another stern test awaits us next week up at Cinderford.”
