MACBOOKS IN AN AI AGE
With AI taking over low-level tasks such as coding, content production, and support, the new role of Macs is to act as an interface between humans and AI, enabling us to interact with and manage our AI assistants. The new role of Macs is particularly relevant for professionals working in creative fields. With the help of AI, they can increase their productivity, speed up their workflow, and produce more engaging content.
For instance, video editors can use AI to automate time-consuming tasks such as color grading, audio synchronization, and object tracking. In contrast, graphic designers can use AI to generate variations of their designs, create mockups, and resize images for different platforms. Right now, Apple offers developers and creatives all the tools they need to perform at their best, but as AI tools become ever-more advanced, we’ll likely see changes to macOS, iPadOS, and more to accommodate needs.
As Macs become more integrated with AI, the user experience will change significantly. Instead of interacting with individual apps, users will interact with a virtual assistant that runs across their entire Apple ecosystem. This assistant will be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, providing users with a more seamless and intuitive experience. With the use of voice commands, users will be able to control their devices, access information, and perform tasks without touching a button.
