CONDENSER MICROPHONES ARE A HIGHLY SENSITIVE TYPE OF MICROPHONE used in professional studio settings to record the best quality of audio possible. They require an external power source and are particularly good at capturing high frequencies, especially vocals and the sound from acoustic instruments, although the trade-off is that they can often cost a bit more than other types of microphones.
