You’ve done modelling, writing, journalism, and have a degree in psychology. How did you decide to stick to writing?
I think every phase in one’s life has a certain relevance and is important in terms of what it teaches you. Modelling gave me a lot of confidence, but mainly it taught me about the value of money. The degree in psychology helped me understand people and myself. And as a writer, you need to be interested in what makes people tick; it’s the world around you that determines and dominates what your book will be about. All of it has been a very major part of making me the writer I am today.
How did the idea of writing a book for your 75th birthday come about?
