The Travel+Leisure India & South Asia team is at The Ahilya Fort Heritage Hotel in Maheshwar for the cover shoot of our issue dedicated to romance. The theme is perhaps too fitting for Maheshwar—the town is charming with a hint of mystery, and its folks embrace us with open hearts and arms. Our cover star, actor and climate warrior Bhumi Pednekar agrees, “The energy here is something that I’ve completely fallen in love with,” she says with a wide smile.
