Rumours have been doing the rounds that Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are splitting up since the pair have been seen at various events on their own.
Now US sources have confirmed that while they're not divorcing, they are going their separate ways when it comes to their brands.
Meghan, 42, is going to focus on building her celebrity status, while Harry will use his profile to become a global philanthropist, says Nick Ede, a long-time friend of Meghan's who is a Hollywood brand and culture expert.
"They are trying to undo the damage they did with the Harry & Meghan documentary and Spare, which made them into a toxic couple. The first way to do that is to allow Meghan to get away from the victim narrative and away from Harry so people can see who she is."
Nick says Meghan needs to show her fun side and connect directly with fans via Instagram.
"She is 100 percent a celebrity and will concentrate on that while Harry does whatever moves him. If they are wise, they will copy the Beckhams, where each half of the couple has their own 'thing' and they only do a small amount together."
It's believed that to help them make money out of their new solo careers, they have engaged the services of a "Mr Fixit" venture capitalist Adam Lilling, who is known for advising celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres on how to make money.
