Jennifer Lopez on how finally finding her happily ever after influenced her latest project
'FAIRY TALE do exist!'

For years, Jennifer Lopez’s love life has been the subject of gossip pages all over the world. Most recently, her reunion with Ben Affleck after nearly 20 years apart had us all believing that fairy-tale endings do exist after all. And Jen feels the same, telling Woman, ‘It does exist and some things do last forever.’

Throughout her impressive career, J.Lo has always made songs about love. And now, two decades after her third studio album, This Is Me… Then… the singer is back with her latest album, This Is Me… Now, complete with an accompanying special video experience.

Here, pop sensation and actor Jen, 54, reveals just what she’s learnt about love – and herself – over the years…

How did this project come about in the beginning?

For years, I’ve made movies and done music separately, but I always knew I wanted to kind of mush them together. I just didn’t know how to go about it. But this was very organic. Something happened and I couldn’t believe it. I was incredibly inspired when Ben came back into my life and had the blessing of this second chance at true love. It just kind of poured out of me and then once it was done, it felt very special. It feels kind of destined. When I named the album 20 years ago This Is Me… Then, I never imagined in 1,000 years there would be a This Is Me… Now.

And love is at the heart of it?

IS THERE ANYTHING MORE NOSTALGIC THAN CHRISTMASES PAST?

Do you remember the anticipation before the big day, pondering endlessly about what should go on your Christmas list? I would lovingly write two or three things down, pop it into an envelope and leave it by the fireplace to be wafted up the chimney like something out of Mary Poppins.
