‘SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE WILL BE OFFENDED’

No longer a regular on the Loose Women panel, these days Carol McGiffin spends her time in France, relatively out of the public eye. Speaking of what she enjoys about her life overseas, Carol has gushed, ‘Everything! It’s their way of life, their joie de vivre. The French don’t live to work, they work to live, which I love.’

But despite living it up near the Med with her husband Mark Cassidy, 43, the straight-talking star has admitted that she does sometimes miss appearing on the ITV daytime show, saying, ‘I used to love flying back to London to do Loose Women, but travel got more difficult and Loose Women got more difficult.’

But luckily Carol, who recently celebrated 10 years of being cancer-free, has other things to focus on, including writing a new memoir and renewing her vows with Mark.

In a new interview, the star – who left Loose Women last year – has lifted the lid on which co-stars she’s still friends with, how she’s brutally honest with those she isn’t, and how her two-decade age gap with Mark gets to her at times…
