I'D LOVE TO DO LOOSE WOMEN'

Alison Hammond has been part of This Morning since 2002, first joining as a reporter and competition announcer not long after she first burst onto our screens in Big Brother. Fast forward two decades and fan favourite Alison is now a regular fixture on the famous sofa, and in recent months she’s arguably helped keep This Morning afloat.

But while we can’t imagine the show without Alison, it seems that the star is perhaps considering a future elsewhere. Following Holly Willoughby’s departure from the ITV programme, the presenter, 48, has told Woman’s Own, ‘I’d love to do Loose [Women] – I’d do any programme. I’ve done most of them!’ So will Alison, like Holly, turn her back on the show that made her?

Hot property

Alison’s vivacious personality has landed her gigs on telly’s top shows, most recently joining The Great British Bake Off as a host. She’s also lent her voice to a character in animated film Hotel Transylvania 3, designed her own clothing range with top fashion brand In The Style and filmed a documentary, Alison Hammond: Back to School.

So, it’s safe to say that the star is well and truly in demand.
