As Richard is criticised for mishaps on GMB, Judy may get her wish for him to step back

Richard and Judy have been enjoying a break in their beloved Cornwall in recent weeks and it seems it may have come at a crucial time. Richard, 66, has had a series of mishaps at work that have found him under fire, with some viewers declaring that he should be sacked.

The broadcaster – who has graced the telly for over four decades – came under criticism for misgendering non-binary singer Sam Smith during a segment on Good Morning Britain. Instead of referring to Sam by their preferred pronouns, ‘they/them’, Richard used ‘he’, quickly apologising for his mistake. However, the star made a second blunder, also misgendering guest Shivani Dave, who is non-binary. ‘I am so sorry. I will learn to do that,’ Richard said when pulled up about it.
