With Christmas finished, rubbish weather and dark evenings that go on forever, January can feel pretty bleak.
The third Monday of the month, dubbed 'Blue Monday', is supposedly the saddest day of the year, where a mixture of failed New Year's resolutions and back-to-work misery come to a head. With millions of us reportedly suffering from the winter blues, or seasonal affective disorder (SAD), it can feel tricky to find things to look forward to. We can't all book a last-minute holiday to ward off the January blues but, have no fear, Woman's Own is here with our top list of things happening in 2023 to cheer us up this month.
ONE LAST DANCE FOR MAGIC MIKE
There are plenty of hotly awaited film releases this year, but coming up on 10 February, just in time for Valentine's Day, is the final instalment of our favourite guilty pleasure, Magic Mike.
Hunk Channing Tatum is stripping off again in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, the sequel to 2015's Magic Mike: XXL. This time, Mike Lane, played by Tatum, travels to London to fulfil a request for a wealthy woman, played by Salma Hayek, whose
intentions aren't what they seem. Tatum wants the film to be the Super Bowl of stripping', so expect even more glamour, dancing and abs. No need to turn up the heating, let Tatum and his crew of extraordinary strippers get you hot under the collar instead!
