YES

‘Teachers want them to be safe’

Sue Bordley, 50, is a teacher and independent author who lives in the Wirral with her husband and two sons, aged 15 and 12.

It’s so important for kids to have physical contact, but school isn’t the place for it.

As a mum of two secondary-aged boys and as a teacher, I know how important it is to look out for the well-being of children. Schools are places of learning – it’s hard to learn if you’re being shoved, prodded, touched or hugged.
