She’s been part of Loose Women since 2016, but after taking maternity leave following the births of her daughters, Rose in 2021 and Belle in 2023, Stacey Solomon is feeling ‘torn’ over whether to return to the hit show.
Woman’s Own previously reported how Stacey was considering stepping away from the programme, with a source revealing, ‘She’s outgrown the show.’
And now, Stacey has admitted that she may plan to quit showbiz to become a stay-at-home mum, saying, ‘Every year I have a team meeting with my agent and everyone on the team to say, “What’s your plan, what’s your goals, blah, blah, blah.” And this year when they asked me my five-year goals, I was like, “I want to be a stay-at-home mum.” That is like my dream, my ultimate dream. I just want to be with my kids.’
Stacey was last seen on the panel in 2022 and more recently appeared as a guest in 2023. But despite her absence, she is still named as a panellist on the ITV website and a source now tells Woman’s Own that Stacey, 34, won’t commit to leaving.
‘Stacey has had such an impact on Loose Women that she knows she can come back any time and bosses will be falling over themselves to have her back, which is why they’ve left the door open for her to return whenever she wants, as a panellist or a guest,’ they tell us. ‘She’s truly having her cake and eating it.’

Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly.
