Hotel discounts
If you’ve found your hotel on an aggregator website (where information is collected in one place), such as booking.com, don’t book it there right away. Instead, call or email the hotel to see if they’ll offer you a better price. Because hotels have to pay commission fees to most aggregator websites, they often offer direct bookers lower prices, or extras like breakfast, a nicer room or a free bottle of wine.
