It's good to WALK

Many of us started walking regularly in the pandemic, and now a mountain of research suggests that maintaining daily walk might be the single most important thing we can do for our health you and wellbeing. Here's why it's good for you.

Walk to lower blood pressure

Even a short perambulation will lower blood pressure. A 12-minute walk can reduce our risk of high blood pressure, not to mention liver disease, heart disease, and diabetes*.

Take a postprandial amble

A gentle stroll after a meal aids digestion. One study found that a 30-minute walk after eating eased chronic constipation. It helps to regulate blood sugar levels too, making it particularly beneficial for those with type 2 diabetes.
