Exquisite palettes
Well-chosen plants, along with a little care, will give you sizzling pot displays from May or June to the first frosts. Before you dash off to the garden centre, pick a colour palette - it will really help knit your pots together and prevent you wasting cash on mismatched plants. Think about where the pots will sit - in shade, part-shade, or full sun - and arrange in clusters. This ramps up impact and lets you play with shapes, sizes and colours.
