Bring back SUMMER LOVIN'

Ready for some bad news? It appears, as a nation, we're making love less and less. And the worst part? The biggest declines are within couples who are married or living together. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. In fact, almost half of those aged 60 or older are in sexless relationships, which means having no sex or fewer than 10 times a year.

So, what's getting in the way? Researchers suggest it's down to the 'busyness of modern life' - and that's where holidays can help. 'A break from day-to-day life gives us more carefree time to indulge in one another,' says sexual wellness and relationship expert Anna Richards, founder of frolicme.com. 'Warmer climes also mean baring more of your body, which leads to more moments of skin-to-skin contact.'

Is something still holding you back? Here's how to overcome some of our excuses so you can get jiggy this summer.

'THE MOMENT IS WRONG'

Do hectic holiday itineraries leave little space for getting 'in the mood'? You may reminisce about the days when sex happened organically, but rather than blaming a lack of time or desire, maybe your priorities have shifted. Put intimacy back on your list. 'We expect to get aroused automatically in intimate situations, but it's often more practical than that,' says Anna.
