The former foster parents of missing child William Tyrrell will face court this week over fraud matters relating to the sale of their Sydney home.
The couple, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are due to front Parramatta Local Court on Friday, August 11, after they were each charged with dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.
Police allege the couple organised a third party to make false bids on their Sydney property at auction, with the offences allegedly taking place between December 10 and 12, 2020.
Property records indicate the house eventually sold for $4.1 million in 2020.
