Self-confessed baking fanatic Rachel Khoo is: still pinching herself that she's a judge on The Great Australian Bake Off. Here, the 42-year-old British cook tells Woman's Day what fans can expect from the revitalised show and why she fell in love with Australia and our cooking.
You are part of an all-new line-up of judges. Did you feel any pressure coming into this series?
A little, but I think it was like, you know, when it's the first day of school and everybody is new and you're super excited. It has such a reputation and is renowned around the world, so I was nervous but also excited more than [feeling the] pressure, because there were all these new bakers to discover. It also helped that I had Darren [Purchese], Natalie [Tran] and Cal [Wilson] alongside me, who are also all new to the show.
Are you a big fan of the series - the Aussie and UK versions?
