And the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star certainly looked down on her luck as she and her five children, Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, six, were spotted staying at a $150-a-night motel in Los Angeles.
Fans questioned why the star's mother Candy Spelling, who inherited her late TV producer husband Aaron's estimated $742 million fortune, isn't helping out the 50-year-old actress.
"Um Candy... I think it's time for some of that 'support' you're talking about. If you're still annoyed with Tori and her lousy financial decisions (not to mention choice of husband)... there's got to be a way you can help the kids without enabling Tori," commented one fan of the 77-year-old, who was living it up in Italy as her daughter checked out of her budget accommodation.
"Meanwhile Candy is on another European vacation, this time in Italy. Why didn't she let Tori and her grandchildren live at her 47 million dollar penthouse?" sniped another online commenter.
