Maximise freezer space
Be smart with how you freeze your food and you'll create more storage room. Pour liquids like soups into Ziploc bags and leave flat on a board to freeze; once solid, stack them into neat rows to maximise space. Stackable plastic containers are great for solids like peas, chopped meat or cooked leftovers.
YES, THAT'S FREEZABLE
Did you know you can freeze raw eggs, leafy greens and cooked rice? In fact, there's little that you can't freeze if you do it right. For eggs, shell then freeze raw yolks and whites in a pudding tin before transferring to a freezer bag. For greens, blanch in hot water and cool, squeeze out excess water and transfer to a container.
