Has your wellbeing been impacted by your profession?
'During the last year of my career, with my illness*, my mental health really suffered. The treatment I had and the medication I was on changed my appearance as well as how I felt in myself, which was always something I was conscious about. Luckily, I was at a stage in my life and my career where I felt able to speak to a professional about my mental health to try and make sense of how I was feeling. This wasn't something I would have considered in my early career. I still seek support now when I need it, and I think it's so important for anyone who feels their mental health is suffering to lean on the people and resources around them.'
