We also have some  very unique coffee and sport content in this issue, as we interview 4 first-time Olympians in Tokyo and we catch up with the Creative Directors behind the Supersport Documentary on the Springboks  winning the RWC 2019 -  "Chasing the Sun".

Once you go down the path of flavour exploration, it's difficult not to let it spill over into the other parts of your life. And you know what? It is SO. MUCH. FUN.  Coffee is a lifestyle and has made our appreciation of other delicious endeavours so much better, so in this Autumn Edition 2021 as the light changes and the temperature chills, we are celebrating Chocolate, Cuisine, Wine, Honey and of course, more Coffee.

 A World of Flavour: Do you miss travelling as much as we do? Food and coffee can take you where you wish to go! Kamini Pather takes us on a culinary journey and develops a recipe exclusively for us!

Melt in your Mouth: An education on some of the finer points of chocolate-making and starting a new brand by one the trailblazers of the coffee world, David Donde. Delve deeper with us into a world we very much take for granted, picking our favourites excitedly from the sweet aisle and never wondering how they got there.

The new Coffee Magazine is out, just in time for the holidays, and it is jammed packed with 84 pages of coffee life just for you! 

Inside this issue, our cover story explores the beauty of coffee, as fashion and coffee collide in  a colour palette of art, thanks to the special skills of a very talented female coffee roaster and an equally talented friend in fashion. Celebrating the beauty in each unique coffee, we teamed up with Trend Forecaster Lauren Taylor and coffee roaster Amy Gardiner to bring you a feature that looks the way good coffee should make you feel! I mean...isn't that a glorious way to appreciate flavour?

Our 33rd Edition released in the Spring of this year of 2020 is now available online.
She is beautiful and we are fairly proud of how she turned out. We had a crazy idea of visually representing the idea of creating more transparency in coffee and how we may see pretty cups of coffee on a regular basis, but often aren't aware of the humans who bring this amazing crop to life! 

In the Magazine game there is a saying : "The cover is a promise of things to come." The cover illustration is by Cape Town studio Yay Abe and it says a lot about how many of us are feeling right now. Confined to our homes, making the best of a difficult time, affected more than ever by global events, connected through crisis, both ideologically and physically. We can find comfort in routine, in the small things that we can control - like a simple cup of coffee or supporting a local roaster and contributing to supporting others at this difficult time.

We wanted to capture what people are feeling at this time. Alone. Distanced. Going through their coffee rituals in a new or different way to usual. Some say red symbolizes danger or anger. Both abound during this pandemic. Red also symbolizes love and that’s what we’re choosing to focus on. We love coffee, we love our community and we love you, the people who make it, and this magazine, worth it. Issue 31 is packed full of inspiration and escapism and incredible humans.

Voor Magzter was hij President van Dot Com Infoway (DCI) en Galatta Media.
