The Ogilvy office is a part of the WPP – Bay 99 campus which occupies spread across nine floors. The idea behind this massive project was to bring together 18 leading advertising and media agencies under one campus. Though each company is unique in its design, they come together as one entity. Designed by Contrast, the unique space was meant to create a network of communities that benefit by being a part of a larger business community.
ENVISIONING THE FUTURE OF WORKSPACE
Contrast, with its unique design process, held a session with the management to understand their vision for the brand, apart from briefing sessions with all the departments to understand their specific requirements. The design team then formulated a customised workplace strategy for Ogilvy. Keeping the future of the workplace in mind, they proposed a variety of work settings to cater to various activities as well as to break the monotony of a typical office. Several collaborative seats were provided to motivate staff, brainstorm, and come up with solutions together rather than doing it in isolation. The idea was to change the work approach from being management-focused to user/human-centric.
