In a one of a kind association, Burda Media India collaborated with Hansgrohe India to curate a unique event celebrating the confluence of German design sensibilities and Indian aesthetics. Guest of Honour Dr Jürgen Morhard, Consul General, Federal Republic of Germany inaugurated the event in the presence of some very renowned names from the AID fraternity. In a brief conversation with Dr Morhard, we discussed the association between the two countries, their design DNAs and the design industry in general. Here’s an excerpt.
When it comes to exhibitions, fairs and design biennales, Germany has always been in the forefront with exhibitions like Hemtextil, ICH Germany. What are your thoughts on the Indian exhibition segment? Where do you think, we could make a difference?
