Venkateshwar Hospital is the pioneer project for All India Society for Health Aid Education and Research (ASHA) and it has been conceived as a multi-specialty medical facility for the region. Dwarka belongs to the south-west zone of Delhi. Though it is at a nascent stage in terms of infrastructure development for amenities like hospitals, it is rapidly progressing towards developing itself into a self-sustainable zone of Delhi.
The hospital building is designed as a 250-bedded facility with a 24-hour emergency unit. It will provide medical assistance for the following:
General OPD (Out Patient Department) facilities
Specialised mother and child department
Maternity facilities catering to the needs of urban families
Specialised independent medical center for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
Aesthetic and Dentistry
Executive health check center
Dedicated Oncology department and Cardiology department with OPD and in-patient facilities, Orthopedic, Endoscopy, Cath labs, Dialysis units and Diagnostic services like CT scan, MRI, X-ray center, Nuclear Medical Department and blood bank, etc. constitute other core facilities of the proposed multi-specialty hospital.
