What attracts my attention? These can be different things: A girl with unusual hair and face; an older lady looking in a tiny phone; a reflection of a forest in a river; an attractive flower… People, nature, and even some objects – images that, through their unique beauty and drama, some deep emotion and experience remind me of myself.
Everything that is emotionally related, familiar to me, maybe even unconsciously, attracts me like a magnet.
This is why everything depicted in my paintings is characterizing me or a part of my life, people who are important to me, who are also a part of me.
All this together is my multi-faceted self-portrait.
