The 2017 edition of Downtown Design – the Middle East’s most important design trade show and anchor event for Dubai Design Week – is celebrating five years of success.

Trading Up

This year marks half a decade of Downtown Design, a platform that has led to transformational dialogues and relationships between designers, architects, top industry leaders and collectors from around the globe. Held during the city’s internationally celebrated Dubai Design Week, itself launched in 2015, the show will mark its ongoing success by bringing together even more talent and special events – including the return of the Italian Pavilion and new global surprises and partnerships.

Since its inception in 2012, Downtown Design has grown by 350%, signifying the continuing development of the regional market, and the demand for high-quality design. Set to double in size from last year, the region’s top show will now feature 150 brands from 25 countries, including 70 new high-end international and regional brands. Taking place from 13 to 18 November, and being held in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3) and Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (DCAA), it will be the destination for top trade professionals from the MENASA region.
