If you were to take the same raw photo with two different makes of camera, the chances are that you’d notice slight differences in the way the photos looked when you opened them in Lightroom or Camera Raw. This is because the colours are rendered slightly differently depending on how the raw data is converted to RGB data – so a Canon raw file can look markedly different to one from a Nikon camera, even when all the settings are identical.
