With 14 colors including a Silver and my personal favorite “SEALER 6000” (said in a super hero voice) the clear sealer, that’s right folks, a sealer with no pigment.
Those of you that know me and follow my Mad Scientist Shenanigans can see where I might go with a clear sealer!!
Createx has answered the industry with a self leveling, fast drying, and practically bullet proof waterborne sealer that’s gaining popularity among water base and urethane painters alike. They also developed a mixing chart that’s invaluable to finding an exact match, or getting close to, a color key (matching) sealer to help you save time and money when painting. With 6 primary colors and 6 secondary colors then with the addition of the silver there is nothing you can’t match when putting down a sealer coat.
Ok, so let’s look at the primary colors first. You have White, Black, Gray, Yellow, Red, and Blue. With these colors, you can literally produce any color on the color chart of the 42 additional colors represented, I personal have all 12 colors at my disposal, why you ask, because I’m impatient and at times want to paint and not mix. At the bottom of the chart are the secondary colors as I call them. Orange, Lilac, Process Blue, Green, Tan, and Burgundy. Those are all made from the primary 6 at the top of the chart. Anything in between them are mixed according to the mix ratios under each color in the center of the chart. So, for example if I wanted a robin’s egg blue I would mix 2 parts 6002 Blue (GS) and 8 parts 6001 White to make the blue I was looking for. That was pretty easy and fast to get to the perfect color or at least in the ballpark with the help of the Mixing chart for the Sealers. Now all you need is a color wheel and you’ll be able to mix any color you need.
SO WHY ALL THESE COLOR SEALERS?
