Hyundai has revealed the new Venue compact SUV in fine style on a cruise ship on the Arabian sea. Yogendra Pratap was there to check out the newest sub-4m.
Hyundai has finally revealed its sub-4m compact SUV that went by the codename QXI at simultaneous global premieres in New York and off the coast of Mumbai on a cruise from Mumbai to Goa. The SUV underlies Hyundai’s strategy of loading the car to the gills when being one of the last entrants to an already crowded market segment. On the exterior, it looks bold with an imposing large front grille and a different headlamp set-up with pleasing graphics for both the front DRLs as well as the tail lights. Across the front and rear bumpers detail design elements have been added which shows attention to detail. The SUV has pleasing proportions and fits plum into the segment which has the Maruti-Suzuki Vitara Brezza as the dominant player. Of course the length of all vehicles in this segment is pre-defined but the Venue has exactly the same wheelbase as its main competitor but is slightly narrower, by 2cm.
