The Tigor Is Here. Does It Change Everything or Is It Just a Tiago With a Boot?

Ashok George
Tata Tigor

This slapping on a boot business is a tricky thing to do well. Remember the first time the Dzire came out? Wasn’t the most well executed design, was it? But somehow, with the Tigor, Tata seems to have pulled it off with minimal awkwardness.

Why minimal awkwardness? Because, if you ask me, that rear section on the Tigor could have done with a bumper that was lower by an inch or two so that it covered more than half the wheel arch. But so far, that’s the only complaint I have about this car’s design. In fact, keep looking at it long enough and even that short bumper will grow on you. And one might even come to appreciate that fastback-esque tail section. Throw the Tiago’s pretty face into this mix and the result is a unique looking car.
