My hubby and I have been married for 3 years now and he always has the best plans and ideas on how to surprise me for our anniversary. We wanted to do a long trip for a while but because of my time constraints with work it’s not always possible. Luckily our wedding anniversary falls in the week before Human Rights Day, and for the last 2 years this has worked in our favour and given us a long weekend to do something special.
He planned this trip in advance at least, but I was in the dark about the exact plans and details he had organised. I was informed we would be doing a hefty 1300km’s round trip and staying at the Woodsman at some point, but I didn’t have much more detail than that.
