Hello, you might (just)remember me from the January 2019 issue in which my bike-themed barber shop was mentioned in the pages of this fine magazine. For those that didn’t read it, here’s a summary!

I’m 26, I used to be in the RAF and I jointly run RJ Barbers in Northants and it’s the sort of place any biker would feel at home in, as many of my bikes adorn the place. You will see my mildly-modified Honda CB400 Four, my 1972 Honda CB350 twin, an ex-British Army Armstrong, and my Honda VFR400R NC30. I’ve also got a 1997 Kawasaki ZX-6R Ninja and some off-road machines. The guys and I often head out off-road too.

Now, I love my V4s, but let’s start at the beginning. I’ve loved bikes since I was a kid. When I was seven, my dad bought me a quad, then a pit bike – I had a Derbi Senda and I had a Yamaha DT125 at 17. I passed my test at 18 and bought a VFR400 NC30. I never flog any of my bikes. We all regret when we do, right? Saying that the Derbi did go to a mate (he crashed it) and I kinda blew the DT up!
