The feisty Fiesta proudly wears its new decals after having a 178bhp Revo Stage 2 upgrade!
Regular readers will recall that over the past few mnths we’ve been tuning the little Fiesta in conjunction with Revo Technik, to show just what the tiny, three-cylinder 1.0-litre EcoBoost is really capable of. But I will say the process started with one of Revo’s Stage 1 remaps, which made a phenomenal difference the way the car drives! From there we had our eyes on the Stage 2 upgrade, but that requires the use of performance hardware to replace the restrictive standard components. So last month saw us install an Airtec Stage 2 intercooler, an Auto Specialists induction kit, and a Cobra Sports 200cell sports cat. With those in place – which did make the car feel a bit faster still, and totally transformed the quite dull and flat exhaust note into a roughty, exciting, and encouraging rasp – we headed back to Revo HQ this month for the Stage 2 software to be installed.
