Jaguar Stuns the Motoring World With Its Production-ready Electric Powered Concept
JAGUAR HAS SHOCKED ITS COMPETITORS BY USHERING IN a production-ready electrically powered concept which will hit its showrooms in 2018 - if not sooner. This concept doesn’t come with the usual ‘C-X’ coding because the car we can all buy will be very close to identical with this one.
At this moment the I-Pace competes head-on with the impressive Tesla range, but the Jaguar promises to be less expensive than the Tesla and more practical too. It is thought the range for the car is going to be around 500 kilometres (300 miles), and with the average vehicle being driven for close to 40 kilometres daily, it is going to take a trickle charge at night time in your own garage to top it up.
For long distance trips there will always be a charging station within range, and professional outlets including those established by Tesla worldwide, will recharge a battery in around 30 minutes. That’s time for a coffee and a bite to eat - and the electricity is FREE!
Jaguar leads the field of major manufactures in electric engined vehicles, and after decades of promises and trials by many businesses, the motoring world is on the verge of massive upheaval.
For those who miss the thrill of an internal combustion engine - Design Director Ian Callum has declared he wants his electric Jaguars to have noise too. Artificial it may be, but we think this is something missing from Formula E racing. Engineering breakthroughs are welcome at Jaguar which was the first to offer four wheel disc brakes on its production vehicles, and the first to build all-aluminium monocoque bodies.
THE I-PACE
For over 80 years, Jaguar has been globally renowned as a maker of beautiful sports cars. Cars that have always been relevant, at the cutting-edge of technology and exciting to the senses.

THE F-PACE IS JAGUAR'S BEST SELLING MODEL AND continues to improve in all ways. The 2021 upgrades are sensational to the point where it now feels close to an XJ from the driver or passenger seats. It is that luxurious. It is multi-purpose too, so aside from family duties, it will handle the dirty stuff like a dedicated SUV and, encouragingly, Jaguar really has got its head around what the F-PACE was capable of achieving from its inception.
